The problem

Occupational safety in Croatia is a paperwork obligation with real deadlines attached. Medical examinations expire, equipment needs periodic testing, fire-safety training has to be repeated, and every one of those has a date that an inspector can ask about.

Most companies track this in a spreadsheet, a shared drive, and a filing cabinet — three systems that agree with each other right up until the moment they matter. A missed date is not a small administrative slip; it is a finding on an inspection report.

What we built

Gamelu is a multi-tenant web platform that holds worker records, company documents, and compliance evidence in one repository, and tracks every statutory deadline attached to them. When something is coming due, the platform raises it before it lapses rather than after.

The modules cover medical screenings, equipment inspection, fire safety, staff training, and reporting. Legal forms are populated automatically from the worker and company records already in the system, which removes the retyping step where most errors get introduced.

Data is imported rather than re-entered, so a company can move its existing records in on day one instead of starting from an empty database.

Design decisions

The product is used by administrators, not by specialists, so the interface leads with what is expiring rather than with a navigation tree. The dashboard answers "what needs attention" first.

It ships in Croatian and English from the same codebase, since the compliance domain is Croatian but several client organisations report upward to non-Croatian parents.

Where it stands

The platform is live at app.gamelu.hr behind a login, with a 14-day trial that does not require a contract. It is under active development — we build it, host it, and answer for it.
